Clarice Gail Findley, 90, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, February 9, 2026. She was born in Kingwood on October 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Archie and Thelma (Hebb) Sharps.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Judi Lambert and her husband Ron, of Bridgeport, and her son, Mark Findley and his wife Vickie, of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Justin Lambert and his wife Katherine, of Grafton, Ashley Lucas and her husband Luke, of Grafton, Brian Findley, of Clarksburg, Christina Thompson, of Clarksburg, Alainna Brown and her husband Hunter, of KY, and Julia Nuzzo and her husband Nick, of OH; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Donna Sharps, of Bridgeport; and two special friends, Kim Parsons and Darlene Prunty.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Earl Sharps.
Gail enjoyed playing cards, baking, singing in the choir, and most of all spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Taylor Healthcare Center for the wonderful and living care provided to Gail.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to the Taylor Healthcare Center, 2 Hospital Plaza, Grafton, WV 26354.
A funeral service will be held at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Alan Rosenberger presiding. Private interment will be held in Woodsdale Cemetery.
