Joyce Ann Martin, 72, of Clarksburg, left her earthly existence to join her family in Heaven. She was born on July 2, 1954 to the late Russell Gail and Virginia Hathaway Martin. Joyce was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. She spent over 30 years employed by United Hospital Center, where she made many friends, some who remained dedicated to her for life. She loved camping, talking sports with her brothers, whom she adored, and was an avid WVU sports fan. She was very unique and free spirited and was always smiling.
She is survived by her nieces, Ellen Martin-Snyder, Erica Lockhart, Paula Steffich and Tara Graley; nephews, Russell Martin, Dale Martin, Charles Steffich, Tyler Martin and John A. Martin; Great-nieces, Maya Snyder, Addy Martin, Gracie Martin, Lily Martin, Kyndell Gall, Adriana Martin, and Neila Martin; Great-nephews, Brady Snyder, Evan Gall, and Tucker Clary.
Also deceased were her brothers, Richard G. Martin, John A. Martin, and Dale L. Martin.
Per Joyce’s wishes, she will be cremated.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
