Teresa “Terri” Harper, 59, of Buckhannon, West Virginia and former longtime resident of Clarksburg, West Virginia passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Terri was born December 29, 1966 in Washington D.C. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Kriner, brother Patrick Kriner, sister Karen Ingram, brother-in-law Michael Ingram, brother-in-law Daniel Dockins Sr., and brother-in-law David Vosh.
Terri is survived by her mother Beverley Kriner, son RJ Kriner, daughter in law Raeann Kriner, daughter Colleen Kriner, granddaughter Keilana Kriner, brother Michael Kriner, sister-in-law Lisa Kriner, sister Janis Vosh, sister Marie Dockins, brother James Kriner, and brother Vincent Kriner. Terri was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Terri grew up in Camp Springs, Maryland as the youngest daughter of 8 siblings. A traditional Italian American household, Terri grew a passion for cooking and feeding people. Many family arguments have been had about who had the best lasagna, but to her children it was the best, along with Mama’s meatballs.
Terri marched to a different cadence career wise. She was most proud of performing with a country rock band and playing as a disc jockey throughout the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. When she moved to West Virginia, she quickly picked up traction as a Karaoke DJ with Canary Karaoke. Terri had the voice of a diva, knowing any song on the radio. She played the guitar and mandolin. Her fingers danced across the frets as she set the melody free.
Terri was also into a variety of crafts, but enjoyed quilting and coloring books the most. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed Sundays virtually with family and friends. Her soul shed its earthly limits to soar freely in the beauty of heaven flying high like a butterfly! Teresa “Terri” Harper will be truly missed and forever loved.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
