Juanita Marion Herron (Greynolds)

Juanita Marion Greynolds Herron, 93, of Mt. Clare passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 in the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Mt. Clare on May 8, 1933, a daughter of the late Hoy Greynolds and Lillian Russell.

She was married to Daniel L. Herron, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2009.

Surviving are three children, Daniel Herron, Jr. of Ohio, Juanita McKown and her husband Randy of Mt. Clare and John Herron of Dunbar; seven grandchildren, Donald Osborn, Lori Palmer, Amanda Edge (Jason), Haley Herron-Walker (Arron), Nicole Kojis (Dan), Daniel Herron and Bonnie Bolyard; nine great grandchildren, Victoria Lim (Alex) Andrea Steele (Samuel), Hunter Edge, Kiersten Edge, Braden Edge, Braydon Walker, Noah Herron-Walker, Kinsley Walker and Christian Walker; eight great great grandchildren, Caleb, Tyler, Kasen, Kodei, SkyLynn, Hudson, Brody, and one additional very special little boy; one sister, Betty Suprenant; one sister-in-law, Ellen Greynolds; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Herron; her daughter, Carol Osborn; one grandson, John Alan Osborn; her brother, John Greynolds; step-siblings, Wayne Haggerty, Carol Bartlett and Martha Ann Mitchell; and brother-in-law, Ed Suprenant
.
Mrs. Herron was a retired superintendent of the linen and upholstery shop at WV Correctional Industries and was previously a supervisor at McNichol China for several years. She enjoyed gardening and shopping and liked to go boating with family in her early years. Juanita loved her special cat, Andy.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
