Karen Sue Jones, 70, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Clarksburg on May 29, 1956, a daughter of the late Warren Paul Janes, Jr. and Betty June Moore Janes.
Karen is survived by her children, Jeremy Brandon Wood, of Wheeling, Timothy Shawn Wood, of Bridgeport, and Matthew Patrick Wood, of Wheeling; twelve grandchildren; and her sister, Nancy Kay Alonso of Swannanoa, NC.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dorian Jones, Jr.; and sister, Deborah Denise Maxwell.

In keeping with her wishes, no public services will be held.
