Paul Graden Russell, 81, of Shinnston, passed away April 5, 2026. He was born in Shinnston on July 31, 1944, a son to the late Frank Russell and Hazel Hilton. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Minor Russell; brother Marion Russell; and sister Loretta Harris.
He is survived by his children, Melissa Wilson (John) of Morgantown, and Patrick Russell of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren Jessica Campbell (Steven) of Clarksburg, and Avery Russell of Richmond, VA; great-grandchildren Violet Campbell and Reid Campbell, both of Clarksburg; siblings Esther Rauer (Ron) of FL, Charles Russell (Tammy) of Lumberport, Arnett Russell (Peggy) of Morgantown, Rebecca Minor (Dave) of Shinnston, Marvin Minor (Sandy) of Mt. Clare, Brian Minor (Becky)of Bridgeport, and Jon (Suellen) Ammerman of Bridgeport; and special friends, Tim and Amy LeFevre of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews.
Paul worked for the WV State Police, and Joyce Furniture. He was a member of Lifeway Bible Fellowship. Paul was a true man of God, sharing the Gospel with whomever he came in contact with. He enjoyed gardening, playing guitar, attending church, visiting the Amish country, woodworking, attending his grandchildren’s events, and spending time with his family.

Friends and family will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM. A private funeral service will be held for family.
