West Edward Williams, 84, of Big Rock Camp, passed away on March 21, 2026. He was born April 27, 1941, at McIntyre Fork, a son to the late Than Williams and Lucy Bramer Williams. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol V. Williams; and sisters Nancy Smith, Connie Quickle, and Julia Crouch.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Williams and wife Melvina of Big Rock Camp; grandchildren Jessica Chatham and husband Josh of Lumberport, and Matthew Williams of Wallace; and five great-grandchildren, Gianna and Aries Fragman, McKayla Emerson, Hunter Williams, and Harper Chatham.
West was in the National Guards and worked at UCAR in Anmoore. He bowled in a league with his fellow workers, and enjoyed farming and camping with his family and friends.
