John Harlow, 59, of Clarksburg, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2026. He was born June 9, 1966, a son to the late Steve and Sandra Shaffer Harlow. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Rose Clevenger.
He is survived by his children, Shannon Pumphrey, Jonathan Harlow, Josh Harlow, Mathew Harlow, and Aryonna Harlow. He’s also survived by his brother, Steve Harlow; and eight grandchildren.
John was a graduate of Liberty High School, and played football for Salem University and Glenville State College. He was a mechanic by trade, and enjoyed helping others.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated.
