Frances Ann Mick, 85, of Lumberport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2026. She was born in Haywood, April 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Julia Marie Palmer Quinn. On April 8, 1958, she married Robert Jospeph Mick, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2020.
Surviving are her children: Mary Jo Starkey, Bridgeport, Jean Mick, Clarksburg, Dawn Mick, Fairmont, and Vickie Beck and her husband Todd, Lumberport; her son-in-law, Lonnie Dunn, Salem; her grandchildren: Maranda Sendling, Christina Dunn, R.J. Hedrick, Patrick Dunn, Jacklyn Dixon, Amanda Haught, Courtney Pokrzywa, Mariah Whiteman, Dustin Hamrick, Kaitlyn “Kait” McMillan and Emily Beck; 29 great grandchildren; her brother, Roger Quinn and his wife Beverly, her brother-in-law, Charles “Gibby” Abruzzino; and her sister-in-law, Jean Mick Warner; and several nieces and nephews.
Frances was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharrell Dunn; siblings: Wilberta “Bobbie” Tocorzic, Gloria Jenkins, Bernice “Skip” Lewis, Sandra Sue Abruzzino, Nancy Armstrong, and Richard “Dick” Quinn.
Frances was a homemaker for the majority of her life but did spend time employed at the American Legion Post 13, Clarksburg. She enjoyed bowling with her sisters in their younger days, and camping with her husband. She loved the Lord and her family, especially the babies.
The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8pm, Wednesday, where funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, with Evangelist Craig Matheny officiating. Interment will be in the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
