Jean Harbert, 91, of Enterprise, passed away on March 4, 2026. She was born in Lumberport on June 17, 1934, a daughter to the late Raymond Powell and Freda Drummond Powell. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Harbert Jr.; and lifelong friend Jean Shroyer.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Harbert (Melissa) of Shinnston, Jay Harbert (Vicki) of Lumberport, Jon Harbert (Kim) of Enterprise; grandchildren Jacob Harbert, Sydney Harbert, Sam Harbert, Kelly and Chant Allman, and their children Kendal , Lincoln, and Abel Allman, Christian Hooten, Elijah Francisco, Jamie and Colton Burr and their children Makenzie and Aubrie Burr; great-granddaughter Piper Harbert; twin sister June Barker; lifelong friend Tina Cain; and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was a graduate from Lumberport High School. She worked for Maidenform and attended Lumberport United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and her animals.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00PM-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11:00AM with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
