William Andrew Riffle, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away at his residence on October 3, 2026. He was born in Clarksburg on October 18, 1954, a son of the late William Ford and Willa Jean (Billie) Riffle.
He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1972, and later graduated from West Virginia University where he majored in Psychology. He spent the last 35 years as a practicing Psychologist while residing in Huntington, a profession that he took very seriously.
Andy, as he was known to all, is survived by his sister, Marilyn Testa and her husband Dr. Thomas Testa, of Nutley, NJ; his two nieces, Angela Testa, of Bloomfield, NJ and Andrea Tomesko and her husband Robert Tomesko, of Clark, NJ; his adored great nephews, Robbie and Gabe Tomesko; and many friends from both high school and college days, cousins, and his cherished clients.
Two things that Andy loved were animals and music. Throughout his lifetime, he had various pets, but one of his most remembered and longest companions was “Daisy Mae”. He also played guitar and harmonica. In his younger days, he played in various local bands and later in life enjoyed jam sessions with fellow musicians. He was witty, kind, and was never in a rush.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Harrison County Humane Society, P.O. Box 4397, Clarksburg, WV 26302, or hshcwv.org.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, WV.
