She was born in Clarksburg on April 12, 1947, a daughter of the late Freda and Charles Caruthers, and adopted by the late Opal and Walter Worstell.
Becky was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Powell, on October 26, 2023.
Surviving Becky are four children, Missy Hoskinson and husband Carl of Haywood, William “Billy” Powell of Stonewood, Susan Powell and Jeff Yanego of Stonewood, and Kevin Powell of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Amanda Southern (Chad), Sam Fisher (Emily), Noah Hoskinson, Trysten Rohrbaugh, Caleb Yanego, and Caleigh Powell; three great-grandchildren, Owen, Ava, and Wren; and one brother, Larry.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gail, and sister, Donna
Becky was a graduate of Victory High School. She was a homemaker and loved being a mom.
Her hobbies were simple: spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and taking walks. Becky was an avid Steelers and WVU Mountaineer’s fan.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation services will take place following the visitation.
