Edwin Lee Holcomb, 76, of Worthington, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Fairmont, March 5, 1950, a son of the late Ellis and Wilma Lucas Holcomb. On March 5, 1968, he married Mae Marie Ott Holcomb, who preceded him in death on May 25, 2023.
Surviving are three children: Ellis Lee Holcomb and his wife Beverly, TX, Yolanda Martin and her husband Rusty, Shinnston, and Cassie Swiger and her husband Jason, Worthington; grandchildren: Ryan Holcomb and his wife Sarah, Lumberport, Cameron Martin, Shinnston , Drayke Martin and his wife Jacey, Shinnston, Alli Bragg, Worthington, and Maci Bragg, Worthington; and one brother, Edward Holcomb, Worthington. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Holcomb.
Edwin was a coal miner, having retired from Robinson Run Mine in 2001. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
