Cole Andrew (Stewbird) Watson, 24 of Shinnston passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at Mon General Hospital, Morgantown, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born May 29, 2002 at Clarksburg, WV, a son of Andrew E. Watson (Susan) and Amanda Michele Mutafis Toll.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Bill and Diane Watson, Shinnston, and Greg and Lynda Davis; Great-grandparents Clifford and Debbie Jones;Grandfather Micheal Mutafis; sisters, Hayden Watson, Tayler Watson and Drew Watson; Step-brother, Sammy Congi; friend Haleigh Ferris; Step-Father James Toll.
Preceding him in death are his great-grandparents, Shirley “Jeannine” Jones, Betty Miller, and Dorthy and Howard Watson , Harry and Betty Mutafis.
Cole graduated from Lincoln High School in 2021. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and side by sides, and loved fishing, boating, and being with family and friends. Christmas and family get togethers was a special time for him. Losing his dads tools was a regular occurrence.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2026 with Pastor Dave Markley officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
