Robert Lee Trimble, Sr., 69, of Bridgeport, passed away Friday April 10, 2026. He was born November 29, 1956 in Clarksburg, a son of the late Robert B. Trimble and Louise Wilfong Trimble.
Robert is survived by two children, Crystal Snider and her husband Peter of Bridgeport and Robert Trimble, Jr. and his wife Crystal Ann of Fairmont; 7 grandchildren, Klisty Rose Snider, Sevren Lake Snider, Jayce Avery Mcfann, Robert Trimble, III, Milee Dawnielle Trimble, Nikee Ray Alexis Trimble and Armoni Lewis Stout. Also surviving are his siblings, Cindy Kontact and her husband Jim of Bridgeport, Lorrinda Boring of NC, Paul Trimble and his wife Linda of NC, Robin White and her husband Denny of WV; brother-in-law, Paul Moore; and sister-in-law, Cathy Jones.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Buddy Trimble, and sister Sue Moore.
Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved having company, especially having his kids around. Robert was a wise, hard-working man and he didn’t know a stranger.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
