Joanna Cottrill, 80, of Lumberport, passed away on April 09, 2026. She was born on February 13, 1946, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Swiger Hayhurst.
Joanna is survived by her husband, Jack Cottrill, whom she married on August 28, 1968; her children: James Bradley Cottrill and wife Tracy of Cambria, and Sharon Stire and husband Tim of Lumberport; grandchildren: Marissa Smith and husband Ben, Kayla Cruz and husband Noah, Deanna Smith and companion Danny Marsh, Matthew Cottrill, Megan Cottrill, and Madisson Cottrell; great grandchildren: Ryder Cruz, Abigail Smith, Jack Smith, Raya Cruz, Hannah Smith, and James Cottrill; and siblings Patty Cottrill and Dolly Smith.
Joanna was a homemaker and she loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and reading on her Kindle Fire. Joanna had attended House of Faith Church in Erie.
Friends will be received at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm.
