Debbie Moore, 76, of Shinnston passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at United Hospital Center. She was born in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Frank Vargo and Julia Cavallo Vargo Shuman. Also preceding her in death was her Step Father, Gib Shuman and her brother-in-law, Terry Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Moore, whom she married September 21, 1968; her two sons, Chad Moore of Shinnston and Matthew Moore, Shinnston; her brother, Frank Vargo, Jr. and his wife Sylvia of Pittsburgh, PA; her brothers-in-law, Tom Moore and wife Brenda of Fairmont, Stephen Moore and his wife Linda; Sisters-in-law, Linda Vincent and her husband, Ronnie, Alice Loughery, and Margaret Moore, all of Shinnston; several nieces and nephews.
Debbie was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Shinnston and was an active member of Loyal Order of Moose #929, Shinnston. She was an avid WVU Mountaineer Fan and Steeler Fan. She loved Elvis Presley and enjoyed cooking. She was a devoted mother to her children and loved her pets.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2026 with Father Deepu Joseph officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
