Ricky Chamberlain Paugh, 72, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born October 12, 1953 in Buckhannon, one of thirteen children of the late Francis Calvin Paugh and Rachel Viola Whisner Paugh Butcher.

Ricky was preceded in death by his better half, Verna Lynn Robey, who died April 4, 2021.

He is survived by his children, Ricky (Heather) Paugh; Sandra (Rob) Burns; Sarah (Chad) Blaniar; and Ivy (Tish) Alonso; his grandchildren, Alex Paugh; McKennon Paugh; Rachel Paugh; Steven Paugh; Sandi Dennison; Amaya Blaniar; Justus Campbell; Jaelyn Campbell; Robbie Stanton; and Kelsey Stanton; his siblings, Ronnie Paugh; James Paugh; Joyce Wilson; and Calvin Paugh; his sister and mother-in-law, Adrienne and Velma Robey; his close friend, Rick Feathers; and his beloved dog, Pugsley; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Robert Stanton Jr.; his siblings, Doris Jean Roth; Paul Paugh; Patricia Paugh; Lorraine Slaughter; Kenny Paugh; Loman Paugh; Richard Paugh; and Mona Jane Mackey; as well as his best friends, Steve and Betty Daughtery.

Ricky retired from the Boilermakers Local 667, which he joined in 1976. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Ricky loved spending time with his family and going to Big Bear Lake.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Ricky’s adopted daughters, Stormie and Nikki for all that you have done. And to close friends, Jamie and Chad Barnhart.
