Kimberly Kay Stewart, 65, of Jane Lew, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Pontiac, MI, December 28, 1960, a daughter of the late Curtis and Janet Martin Hickman.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin N. “Buzzy” Stewart, whom she married, June 19, 1986; two children, Jeremiah Mayle and his wife Brianna, Beverly, WV, and Adam Franklin Stewart, Jane Lew; her grandchildren, Rowan Mayle, Willow Mayle, and Adam Franklin Stewart, Jr.; her siblings, Kelly Vincent and her husband Robert, Clarksburg, and Josh Hickman, Clarksburg; a nephew, Matthew Bellotte and his wife Rosita, Atlanta; her aunts, Barbara Wheeler, Shinnston, Dorothy Hickman, Lake Orion, MI, and Sidney Hickman, Mannington; and several other aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Kim was a caregiver to many over the years. She was previously employed at Clarksburg Continuous Care, Amedisys Hospice, Visiting Angels, and Heartland Nursing Home. She loved and genuinely cared for all her patients. She got to know them all and became connected to them. She enjoyed her flowers and plants, loved attending Jewel City Church, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 1-8pm, Thursday, where funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, March 20th, with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
