Shirley “Bandit” Kidd

Shirley (Bandit) Kidd, 82 of Clarksburg, passed away Monday morning, February 23, 2026, at home with her family at her side. She was born April 22, 1943, to the late Hayward and Bessie (Radcliffe) Dodd.
Shirley married Ralph Kidd on May 20, 1968, and they were married for 32 years until his passing in 2000.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Sonia Webb and Stacy Kidd, both of Sun Valley. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: Sarah Angotti, husband Joseph and children Scarlett, Josephine, and Michael of Cranberry, PA, Abby Webb and children Mason and Madison Cottrill of Sun Valley, JJ Webb, wife Laken and son Ryker of Sardis, Jamie Webb, wife Haley and children, Brittany, Brandon and Wiley of Sardis and Brian Winkler of Clarksburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Shirley was proceeded in death by her son-in-law Jeff Webb, who gave her the name “The One-Armed Bandit”, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Judy Dodd as well as her sister and brother-in-law Mary Jane and Tom Mayle.
Shirley loved to travel; she never turned down an opportunity to go. She enjoyed cooking for her grandkids, shopping and playing bingo. She was a member of Bible Baptist Temple and always looked forward to church trips with her friends. Shirley’s greatest joy was being “Granny” to her great grandkids.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mike Angotti, Dr. Sabbaugh, and the entire team at Amedisys Hospice for caring for our mom and granny.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 2pm- 8pm., where a Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held on Thursday February 26, 2026, at 11 am with Pastor Charles Madaus presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
